What we do
Removals services
Home and business moves, packing, storage, man-and-van, and the long hauls up-country and into Europe. Here’s the work, grouped the way we actually run it — by the part of Cornwall you’re moving in, and then by the job itself.
By part of the county
Where you’re moving
Cornwall is long and varied, and each stretch of it moves differently. We group our coverage by region so you can see how we’d handle your corner of it.
Truro & mid-Cornwall
Truro · Threemilestone · Probus
The TR1 city and the middle of the county — the cathedral quarter, the Georgian streets off Lemon Quay, and the villages spreading out along the A390.
Newquay & the north coast
Newquay · St Columb · Padstow
The surf coast and the airport corridor — headland flats and holiday-lets, and the run of north-coast towns from Newquay up towards Padstow and Wadebridge.
St Austell & the clay country
St Austell · Charlestown · St Blazey
The PL25 clay-country towns and the bay — terraces down to Charlestown, the villages under the white tips, and the harbours around Par and Fowey.
Penzance & the far west
Penzance · Hayle · St Ives
The end of the A30 — Mount’s Bay and the promenade, the steep lanes of St Ives, and the far-west villages out towards Land’s End and the Lizard.
Falmouth & the south coast
Falmouth · Penryn · Helston
The deep-harbour south — waterfront homes and student lets around Falmouth and Penryn, and the creekside villages of the Helford and the Lizard.
Up-country & international
The M5 · London · France · Italy · Spain · Portugal
The long hauls — off the A30 and A38 to the M5 and up-country to the rest of the UK, and household moves that depart from Cornwall to four European countries.
Homes
For households
From a one-bed flat in Falmouth to a farmhouse on the moor — full house moves, surveyed first, packed and protected, taken apart and rebuilt at the other end. The bit that matters most in Cornwall is the access, and that’s the bit we plan hardest.
Home removalsBusinesses
For businesses
Shops, offices and units across the county, moved around your trading hours — often out of hours or over a weekend — with IT and equipment handled and set back up. We keep the downtime to a minimum and the plan simple.
Business movesResidential
Home removals
Full house and flat moves across Cornwall — a granite cottage on a steep St Ives lane, a Georgian terrace in Truro, a new build on the edge of St Austell. Surveyed first, loaded with care.
- A survey before the day, so the plan fits the property and the lane
- Blankets, straps and corner protection on the furniture as standard
- Furniture taken apart and rebuilt at the other end
- A smaller van and a careful load-in where the access demands it
Commercial
Office & business moves
Commercial moves for Cornish firms — offices, shops and units around Truro, Pool, Threemilestone and the Falmouth waterfront — planned around your trading hours.
- Out-of-hours and weekend moves to keep you trading
- Desks, IT and equipment handled and set back up
- Crate hire and a phased plan for bigger premises
- Storage for surplus stock, furniture and records
Long-haul
Long-distance & up-country
The long ones. Cornwall is a fair way from everywhere, so up-country moves to London, the Midlands and the North are their own kind of job — planned around the A30, the A38 and the M5.
- One team from Cornwall to the door, no handovers
- A load planned for a long haul, not a cross-town hop
- Honest planning around the A30 and summer holiday traffic
- Storage either end when the dates don’t line up
Packing
Packing & materials
Careful packing with proper materials and a labelled inventory — the whole house, the breakables only, or somewhere in between.
- Quality cartons, wrap and protection supplied
- A labelled inventory so nothing goes astray
- Fragile-only packing if you’d rather do the rest
- Unpacking at the far end when you want it
Man & van
Man & van
A driver and a van for the smaller jobs — a single room, a few big items, a student move in Falmouth, or a quick collection anywhere across the county.
- A driver and a van sized honestly to the job
- Careful handling for the awkward, heavy pieces
- Collections and single-item moves
- The right size of job, quoted plainly
Storage, when the dates don’t meet
Sales and purchases rarely complete on the same day, and in a county of second homes and holiday-lets the gaps can be longer. We keep clean, secure storage and can move you into store and back out on a single booking — see our storage in and around Truro.
How a quote works
We work a quote out from three things: how much there is to move, how far it’s going, and how easy it is to get in and out at both ends. The clearest way to get all three right is a quick survey — in person or over a video call — and then you get a plain written quote with no obligation. We won’t put a figure on a move we haven’t seen, because a guessed number helps no one and usually turns out wrong. When you’re ready, send us the details.
Services
About the work
How do you price a move?
From the volume, the distance and the access at both ends — worked out at a quick in-person or video survey, then given to you as a clear written quote. We don’t put a figure on it before we’ve seen the job.
Do you do part-loads and small jobs?
Yes — our man-and-van service covers single rooms, a few large items or a quick collection, with the same careful handling as a full move.
Can you pack just the fragile things?
Of course. We’ll pack the whole house, only the breakables, or anything in between — with proper materials and a labelled inventory so nothing goes astray.
Do you move long-distance out of Cornwall?
A lot. Up-country moves to London, Bristol, the Midlands and the North are their own service — one team the whole way, a load planned for the distance, and honest planning around the A30.

Which of these is your move?
Tell us what you’re moving and where to, and we’ll match it to the right service and come back with a plain, no-obligation quote.
